Empower Team Innovation

To foster a culture of innovation and agility within my supply chain team, I focus on empowering team members to suggest and experiment with new ideas without fear of failure. With over 20 years in the tree care industry and as a TRAQ certified arborist, I've learned that agility in our supply chain is crucial, especially when dealing with unpredictable factors like severe weather or equipment shortages. One initiative we've implemented at Ponce Tree Services is diversifying our supplier network to ensure we always have access to essential tools, equipment, and materials. Instead of relying on a single vendor, we've built relationships with multiple suppliers across different regions, allowing us to quickly pivot if one experiences delays. This approach was particularly valuable during the 2021 supply chain crisis when many companies struggled to source essential materials.
